Just recently had a compustart pro alarm/remote start installed on my 2003 mitsubishi eclipse spyder and now my cruise control stopped working. The cruise light turns on but the cruise doesnt set. Test on diagnostics at Mitsubishi dealership and an error code shows up for the cruise control ecu. Changed the part same error code cruise still not working.
Mitsubishi says it has something to do with the alarm/remote start. Installers say what they did should not affect the cruise control. It worked prior to instal. What could they be missing?

Have the installer disconnect the wire that they put on the footbrake wire. This is the only connection that I can think of that may affect the cruise control.
