I've been seeing a lot of members posting duplicate topics about the same overall installation. This often leads to the same questions being asked by the members that are trying to help the original poster and obviously takes longer to resolve the original poster's issues. If you have an open topic, continue posting in that topic even if you are working on a different part of the overall installation.

Example: If you are installing an alarm and remote starter, do not create a new topic for integrating your door locks, trunk release, light flash, stater kill, turbo timer, siren, horn or any other part of the installation.

Plain and simple, duplicate topics are redundant and a waste of everyone's time and resources.

If you have a problem, chances are the topics were covered. Be courteous and use the posted_imageSearch tool before posting a topic.

Keep the post short and concise. If you need to be descriptive, then be sure to have it in muliple paragraphs.

It is an eye-sore to read a long and dense paragraph.
