After letting the resin dry into the trunkliner on my enclosure, i applied a couple layers of matting over top of the trunkliner hoping to strengthen and thicken the walls of my enclosure. During drying i noticed alot of air bubbles starting to form between the matting and trunkliner keeping the two layers from meshing properly. Has anyone had this problem, how can i prevent this?

yes...its a common problem. there are a couple ways to get rid of them. you can use a roller and get rid of them if you can fit it in some of the tight places. the other option is to use a paint brush to push out the bubbles. this works well too. as long as the air bubbles are not too large there is no need to worry. they will give you weak spots tho. and if you are applying the mat to the outside of the mold fabric that you use. you might have quite a bit of sanding and filling to do.
