ok so i wanna run 3 12 re se subs dont have a lot of room to work with (trunk of an audi a4) now i would really just like to do wood and the problem is re really recommends a ported enclosure so i would like to build it to spec so my question is should i build a box with a slot vent or should i basically build a sealed box with a round port and if so where should i put the round port??? re recommends 2 ft tunned at 33hz

Really that subwoofer is made to be in a pretty good size ported box. Optimum you'll need 2.0 cubes ported at 33hz or compact you can go with 1.5 at 35hz. I've put them in 2.5 at 30hz and they thump hard!
