im just gonna do the front of the box where the subs mount 39" wide and 14" tall i have 16 sq ft of thick matt it doesnt say what weight it is,, so my question is how much resin should i plan on going thru so i dont have to run back to the store later for more stuff??? anybody done something like this b4 that give me some ideas??

I've done a couple of jobs, a similar size...IMO you should be able to buy a quart of resin and still have some left at the end of your project. Depending on how much you allow to soak into the fleece or whatever base material you're using, but a quart should do ya fine.
