What are the main tools I need to start off with in building a sub box?
How many layers of fiberglass should I use on the box?
Is there any help you can give me on painting the boxes as far as websites or general info.?

The finishing grit for painted enclosures also depends on the colors that you end up selecting. Red, black, blue are colors that you can sand up to 600 grit and you won't see any sanding scratches. Silver, light blues or white, you will probably have to sand up to 800 - 1000 to get a good finish. I suggest a mini DA ( mini orbital sander ) and also a 6" DA sander will help you ALOT. Invest in these tools and it will take days off your project.
