the best way for me is using a circle jig..you just have to cut the big circle first.

With a torch and a big enough hammer...it WILL friggin fit!!

I just tried to make my circles and I cut the big circle first and it was nice and round my problem now is the inner circle with only a 1/4 inch ring left over and it looks worse then it did with the jig saw...im sure there is something I am missing...

I have always cut the inner circle first then the outer that way there is enough material for the foot of the jigsaw to rest on.

You can invest in a roto-zip for cutting up to ten inch circles or for bigger circles invest in a circle jig.

like I said I tried the rotozip type tool with a circle jig and the inner circle was hard to keep a constant circle as there is no material to hold onto...so i am having the rings milled out that way they are exact...since there seems to be no perfect way to do this...the way I want anyways...

Well, I think the idea is to use the roto-zip with a circle jig, do the outside ring first so that the jig still has a place to hold to for the inner circle, then do the inner and not car if the circle is perfect, because it should not be to far off to begin with and then the outside will more than likely be covered with fiberglass, and the inside will be covered with a speaker.

the inside of it doesnt have to be perfect if your glassing it all. just as long as the speaker sits like its supposed to with no leaks, or stripped screws youre all set.

do you have a router table? if so dril a small hole abot  1/ the diameter of the circle you want to cut in to your table and take your raw sheet drill a hole into that one ( the same size as the one in the table about large enuf to get a screw or a small bolt into ) match the holes put your screw into it turn the router on and just spin the board. perfict circles everytime.

just make sure to do the outter cuts first .

I got the rings cut at a wood shop soooo much easier... I have now glued and stapled the rings on stands...and couldn't stop there so I wraped it with flease and glassed it...now I just have to sand it.I will post pics when I am done...Im kinda excited here as this is my first time doing fiberglass door pods..
