I use Homedepot or Walmart to find mat/cloth, cheap paint brushes and hardener. I dont like spending $25+ for a gallon of resin so I've worked out a deal where I buy in bulk from my boy at the marina and get 5 gallons for $40 and save $85. MDF is cheap enough at Homedepot or any local hardware store.

Thats weird I went to home depot and walmart and they said they dont carry fiberglassing material. Canadain tire was extremely expesive. Like $7.99 for a square meter of mat and only 1 litre cans of resin. I live in winnipeg so if anyones knows of any other places here that sells stuff cheaper let me know.

mikep3: Try the auto parts store by the Home Depot out by St. Vital ( I think it's called Parts Source ). They have the resin there for $ 32.00 for 4 liters and fiberglas matting is pretty cheap there as well.
