I was wondering what the propper way to vinyl the corners of say a regular rectangular MDF box would be. I have seen some people just sort of fold it at the corners and i have seen others that sew it together at the edge. What's the best way for the cleanest insall?

sewing is always the best way with vinyl on hard corners for two reasons. 1) it just looks cool, there are all kinds of different stitches you can do in all kinds of different colors.2) you dont want to see any staples , and glue by itself will not hold against the pressure of the vilyl wanting to unstretch.

another option for you is to use guitar amp hardware. there is alot available ,basicaly it is rubber or chrome strips that go along all the edges and corners. this will give it a more rugged look.

i did this for a customer of mine about a year ago ,he was a big haired butt rocker. i made his box look like a half stack ,even used origional marshall tweed.
