A post would normally never get deleted unless there were some specific words or a statement against the policy of this forum. If it stayed on for a few days and then went away, it was not "automatic" but most probably a decision of the moderator(s) or administrator.

Now I am curious to know what the cause was.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't think you're allowed to advertise....  Speaking of which, if you did set-up shop I'd be interested as well.  We definitely need a cheap source for materials in Canada.

The post wasn't advertising, it was simply asking if there was a market for the products.

I just know that the forums that I mod, if I am deleting or moving a post I will give them a email or PM telling them why.

hzemall, in that case I have no idea. I do the same on sites where I admin but never did I hear of a deleted post that has no reason. Interesting.

Not sure why ? The post is not there anymore and it may have been the decision of one of the other moderators or site admin. Not sure who did this as I didn't think the content of the post was violating any of the forum rules. I'll see what the deal is and ask around.
