This is the secound version of this enclosure. The first one hit 138db's. This one is .5 cuft larger, so I'm guessing in the 140's. It is a little over 2 cuft total with all the displacement taken out.

More info on my webpage, including the step by step install of the entire system.

The enclosure took around 23 hours, but with the rack add another 2. I have to say the Type R's are worth the money. I had 2 Z type Alpine 12" before this one and they do not compare.

When I say Z type, it was there model SWR-304E about 3-4 years old. On the front of the subs it said ZR. Thats what I mean by Z type.

Hey John

Great job on the enclosure. I like the single sub look. Everyone is doing 2 or 4 subs.

If you like. Email me all your step by step photos and I can upload them in The gcf photo gallery. We give all installer credit for there work. Check it out and let me know.  https://glassmanscustomforum.com/v-web/gallery/albums.php

23hrs ?/ thats alot of time for an enclosure to just carpet over it ... i can see if it was to be painted --

I mean - looks good -- just alot of time wasted ..

There is alot of curing time in that 23 hours. It was cold as hell, which did not help much!
