I was curious as to how well bodyfiller/bondo will stick to the vinyl on my door panel. I plan to be attaching the fiberglass speaker pods here within the next few days and to blend the pod into the door I was going to run some bondo along the seam where they meet and sand but im not sure how well itll stick to the vinyl.

It wouldn't work well at all. If it managed to stick in the first place, over time the movement of the vinyl would cause the bondo to chip and break off.

I went to autozone and didnt find anything that will adhere to the vinyl that is sandable. Would spot putty maybe work?
