hey guys, i finaly finish with my fiberglass enclousers to the point where all i have to do is put a sealer thing where the speakers mount and carpet the box- but while i was cleaning the box i notice there was a very small tiny pin size hole i found when i was using my air thingie to get the dust off.....so my question is will this small hole effect the sound or the speakers at all? would the same amount of air leak out though the screw holes? i guess im being lazy i dont want to take everything out just to fix a small hole, but if it does make any diffrence i will fix it, what do yall think?

For sound it should not affect the sound unless there are TONS of them... If there are a lot of them in the glass then it might be weakened slightly and thus affect sound and/or durability, but reinforcing the back side will fix that problem. heh... problem fixed, but from an artists point of view, you're going to know its there. just remember, you're your own worst critic. you should post some pics regardless.

He also has to consider the audience. He'll know it's there, but they won't. Only those interested in the technical of it will consider even thinking of it. If it works, looks, sounds good, then the pinhole problem is irrelevent so long as the piece is successful in showing itself as a piece rather than showing the construction.
