When wrapping a difficult shape- say a kickpanel- in vinyl, what type of glue are you using to attach it to the fiberglass kickpanel?  In my experiences i have always had trouble with contact cement releasing in hot weather.  Especially on areas of the kickpanel that you had to heat the vinyl up and really work it in to get it to form properly.  Are some contact cements better than others?  I have been using weldwood premium contact cement.  Any suggestions?

the coolest stuff is the select products heat formable vinyl.....it is kinda thick, but you throw heat form a heat gun on it and it will streatch like there is no tomorrow...as for the glue get the woodweld  landeu top and trim adhesive and thinner. the thinner just prolongs the drying time and lets you spray it from a spray gun better, you can also use it to clean up over spray on the vinyl...you can get it from any industrial fabric place. NOT your average joann fabrics, but a place that sells to bigger manufacturing places....here is a pic of it. fishman audio sells it through Metra.....https://www.fishmanaudio.com/new_page_18.htm

I looked around for this glue but no one seems to know about it.  Is this what it is really called by label?  Also, is this a quick drying glue like contact cement so it is easy to work with?

  Thanks

it dries kinda fast....if you have a complex shape and need it to dry slower you can add more of the of the thinner.....here is a link to a place that sells it ..... https://www.discountfoamproducts.com/detail.php3?productid=6000006 ......and here is the home site ..it has a picture of the 5 gallon container we buy it in.... https://www.dap.com/retail/retail_detail.cfm?catid=4&subcatid=109&prodhdrid=302 .......the thinner that we get for it is called acra solv im not sure of the spelling of it ............ installguy509
