this is the before pics

this is the monitor going into the dash

this is how i took it apart

i removed this 2 screws

then this plate

AFter that 4 screws that connect the 2 parts

apart now

next was the ir transmiter

finally all apart
posted_image
next was the 4 screws in the back 1 on each coner

next 8 little clamps that hold the lcd in place

before i removed the lcd i use tape to mark the edges of lcd

finally an empty case

this will be its new resting place

i have no pictures of the build here is the final product

using the tape came really handy later

that'll make one hell of a nav screen... looks awesome!  Snap a pic of the complete install with something displayed on the monitor for us.

this is was next on the list  I had made some door pods but i didn't like they were too big so i took them apart to remake them   before

i cut off the others and used the same rings and my first layer
