I've started installing the Parrot MKI9200 in my Chrysler 300 with the Metra bluetooth harness. I got everything to hook up and the radio still plays, but I'm getting no power from the Parrot to the remote screen.

I know the 300 has the CAN-BUS system and needs needs another adapter to put in an after market radio, but does it prevent the Parrot system from getting 12 volt ignition too?

Anyone installed a Parrot in a 300 and know a step I'm missing?

Thanks

hi,

check to see if the adapter harness provides an accessory power output.  trace the accessory lead from the parrot kit back to the harness.  if it doesn't, you can connect to the lighter socket, it is switched accessory power.

I couldn't get it to power on even from the lighter.

I had a wire harness for installing an aftermarket radio and cut the converter box off it and hard wired it in the metra bluetooth harness and got it to power up.

That extra box made it harder to fit in the dash and get the radio back in, but was able to squeeze it in there.
