2007 Chevy Silverado 4 door, 4 WD.  Changed mirrors; now have mirrors with puddle lights but the truck isn't wired for puddle lights.  I've researched and googled the ENTIRE internet, found several topics on here that reference the gray/black wire to the left of the fuse box.  I found that wire but it's not hot and it isn't a switched ground so how do I use it?

I checked all the wires in the door panel and there is one hot wire on the window switch, it's red and white.

Found other topics that mention a gray/black wire on the black plug pin E on the BCM.  I found the BCM and I found the gray plug but there is no gray/black wire on that plug.  How do I find pin E?

If/when I do find these wires must I use a relay to make the lights work?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Also found where the dome light supervision is the gray wire at the BCM; well which one?  There are several gray wires under there.
