1986 Honda Civic Si hatchback has had its front bumper mounted parking/turn signal lights converted to combination daytime running lights/turn signals. The module used to control this setup has a wire lead that is intended to turn the drl's off when the headlights come on. The instructions state to tap this lead into the low beam positive wire to accomplish this. From the vehicle service manual picture of the headlight circuit:

When tapped into the drivers side low beam wire (Red with Yellow tracer) it does cut the drl's on low beams but they reactivate when the high beams are selected. I assume that if I could effectively read this schematic I would know which wire to use instead to accomplish my need...Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
