I have a 4 pole, DPST LED illuminated rocker switch that says the Blue LED will come on when the switch is in use, powering a device.

No matter what I try, I cannot get the Blue LED to come on?

Anyone know how to properly connect these switches to make the LED come on using 12v DC ?

1 of the terminals should be labeled ground. Did you ground that terminal?

None of the terminals are marked at all. No instructions came with it

I finally figured it out on my own. Looking at the pins directly, the

top left pin connected to 12v+ (power)
top right pin connected to ground
bottom left pin connected to load's HOT (12v+) side

Now the switch turns on the load and the blue LED lights up

Hope this helps someone else. Drop a note if so. I'm following this thread via email.
