Ok...so here is my little dilema on my 2015 Ram 1500 (Canada, so yes DRL on Highbeam)

I am installing 3 HID spot light on the front of her. I would wish that these come on when I turn on the Highbeam.

Currently here was my thinking for the relay;
85 - Ground
86 - Highbeam plus
87 - To lights
30 - 12v (batt)

But then, I realised that the highbeams and DRL are on the same bulb.

Thats where I'm bummed.

Any and all input will be greatly appreciated

A typical automotive relay won't trigger below 8 or 9 volts, so as long as the DRL's operate at a low enough voltage, the relay won't trigger until you turn on the high beams. Hook it up and see- you may just be over thinking it.

Thanks for thw reply Geepherder.

Turns out, lucky me, I have two positives going to that bulb.

So as you say, I was overthinking the whole thing before even taking a look at it :P

Now project #2, getting my reverse LED's wired up. I'll wait until it's not -30°C outside HAHA
