Looking for a good quality manufacturer on under car neon kits. Anyone with experience and recommendations on these would be greatly appreciated. This is a new area for us and I want to go in with quality not bozo brand.posted_image

I sell and use myself: LowGlow Neon out of Florida.
They make two brands, ask for the professional brand. Thier lower end brand is more like Street Glow IMO.

What do you look for as far as qualities that make a quality kit VS. pep boys fodder? Just wondering.

I have used a company in Jacksonville Fl called Neon Riders, the cool thing about them is they will sell you a kit (for about the same price as anyone else) but you can tell them the EXACT lengths that you need, I can't tell you how many times I have had either not enough or too much tube to fit in one of those "pre packaged" setups, also their transformers are slightly higher powered than the other companies.

I am about to try out this new stuff, it is acrylic (plexiglass) rods with a special strip made into the plexi and polished ends with led's in the ends, it is smaller diameter than neon and just as bright, if you want I can get the contact info for you tomorrow at work.

I have wondered why people dont make a LED strip with white leds and put it into a colored tube. cheap and lasts forever and is bright if you get the right leds

Already done. There's a company that does this and our supplier has them for sale.

That is right, sorry copcarguy for the delay in the posting, but the company that makes the plexi rods can be found here: www.soglo.biz , they are small round plexi rods with some kind of patented strip in them, there is 2 leds, one on each end, and believe me they are bright, I like them better than conventional neon because they are smaller, a lot harder to break (there is no glass to bust) and you can even shape them with a heat gun. There are no transformers, and because they are actual LEDs they draw very little power.

If you want an LED kit get this one, LED Kit it has 7 colors in one.

The main difference in neon kits is some like liteglow arent as bright as Street Glow or Plasma Glow.

Heres PlasmaGLows Neon Kit. PlasmaGlow Neon Kit

And Street Glows Gold Series Neon Kit. Gold Series Neon Kit

I have the gold series kit and it is bright. And it has a great lifetime warenty.
