I recently bought some good ol' APC fog lights (model# 505065H, oval dual bulb fog lights) and the including wiring diagram DOES NOT match the arrangement of the wires i pulled out! (frustration! :x) Here's a scanned jpg of the including *installation instructions*

OH yea, one more thing what is the "Car Corner Lamp" in the enlarged schematic.??

Your link does not work. Secondly, I do not understand what it is you dont know?
Looking at this very fuzzy picture seems pretty straight forward.
All the wires starting from the left are very direct. On the upper left is the fuse, and that lead is connected to the batteries positive (+12) terminal.
The other four ring terminals are the chassis ground terminals, which you attatch to the vehicles frame.
The only thing I can not read or see well is the last connection on the lower right. which comes out of the fog light.

damnit, stupid link, i saved the jpg wrong so it f**cked it up. here's the PROPER link to the wiring harness::: https://djfreaq.tripod.com/APC_505065H.htm what's confusing me is the wires leading to the ground, it included no seperate wires to do the job with. Also the wires that power the headlamps are white not blue so i'm just assuming, the connectors don't match the image. I think I'll be able to install it, but i would like some more tips, i think the wiring thing was just POORLEY made. adam ------------- Riding a Taurus, yea... a Taurus. OK, in the image you have provided. The upper box labeled (3) has a red power wire, this is normally wired to a *switched +12 power source.
Meaning it is only on during operation of the vehicle. It is to light up the LED in the switch, and provide power to turn the lights on-off.
Next, the lower picture indicating to attatch it to the positive corner lamps is odd, but I assume this is to turn on the side markers of the vehicle while the fog lights are on.
I have never seen this done before, never mind instructed to do so. If you do not wire it in, the lights will still work fine.
As for the wiring colors, it doesnt matter so long as ALL the wiring harness is connected to the appropiate colors. That is common sense, and I do not see you doing it other wise.

So long as EACH fog lights negative (-) wire is connected to the chassis you will be fine, and it will operate. If you have to attatch longer wires because they are too short. Then do so, keeping in mind that they should be as short as possible and use the same size (guage) of wire for the ground termination point.

The last thing I would like to impress upon you is the one connector wire coming out of the fog light.
It is the one labeled *Connect to corner lamp* this wire is *hot* or supplying a constant +12 volt, when turned on.
If you are not going to hook up this wire coming out of the fog lamp assembly, please ensure you do cover it up with the proper electrical tape or end cap.
Other wise, if it is allowed to touch any metal part of the vehicle, it will short out the fog lamps.
Best of luck in your installation.
In closingm, please ensure you do install the drain spout, assuming it has one in the down ward position, and do not turn the lights on-off in rapid succession, as this will shorten the bulb life.
