Has anyone tried to bypass the automatic headlights in a 2000-05 Chev Impala.

I know that there are 2 wires leading from the BCM to the light sensor in the dash.

Ive tried both bypassing the sensor by either leaving the circuit open or closed.

Both instantces the lights stay on.
Does anyone know the resistnace value needed to keep the lights from turning on themselves.

Thanks

you can disable the auto headlights with a Tech 2 scanner.

Would a GM dealer do that if I asked?

the resistor should be 500-1000 ohms to simulate daytime, and 15k-100k ohms to simulate nighttime
