Ok guys, I've been messing with this idea in my head for a while, and I need your guy's help to double check this and tell me what you think...

First of all, I have a 93 chevy beretta...the stock taillights have 2 bulbs(per side), and both bulbs have brake and signal light functions(dual filament bulbs)..I also have 2 reverse bulbs.

What I want to do is rewire them so that I have one bulb that is only brake, one bulb that is only blinker, and only one reverse light.

Here is a quick drawing I made of the stock wiring get-up(as far as I remember)

and here is a drawing of what I want to do...assuming I check actual resistances, and match resistors to the factory specs, will this work without blowing fuses, or having to replace anything else?

i would ashume this would work, as the remaining bulbs should still work with a blown bulb, thats about the difference in this setup, the blinker may blink faster if that is a problem u might need to add a second blinker, good luck

the blinker will flash either really fast, or not at all...I've had both happen while messing with the wiring.Would there be anything wrong with running the resistors to keep everything at factory specs?or is it more that they aren't really needed, cause if that's it, they are indeed needed to function properly...my tails are very picky about what makes them work correctly...

i guess u could run resistors, u would have to find how much resistance each bulb makes and find matching resistors, that should work
