Quickkkkkk question.

I bought 6, small LED lights from PepBoys. They're small, and take a 12v current to them. I have them hooked up to a switch and such and will have 2 in my cup holders and 1 in each of my 4 air vents.

My problem is...I have no idea what resistor I need because the package & details only tells me they take a 12v current. They are roughly 1/2 cm wide, pretty small LED's. I can't use the calculators cause I have no other information on the LED's.

So what resistors should I buy?

can you get on pepboys' website and show us what you bought? are they JUST led's or is there something else attached to them, or are they prewired?

They are pre-wired and each has black wrapping around where the wires meets up with the light itself. I checked and under the wrap are small resistors. Thanks for the help anyway coppell!

www.oznium.com has the individual lights for $.99 or you could buy loose led's and resistors
