I install a crime stopper cs-2011rs III in my 1999 dodge caravan.  Everything works fine expect the dome light.  I wired up the BLACK/ white to a relay light they say and jumped right onto the relay on the BCM for the domelights.  When I unlock the doors the domelight lights just like it should.  It will time out in 30sec like they say in the book.  My problem is that when you turn the ignition on the dome light should go out, it does not, it stays on for the full 30 seconds.  I called them and left a message, no call back yet.  It is not a major problem just annoying.  The book says it will go out when you turn the key, it does not.

Any ideas?

John

try tapping the BROWN / Light Green (-) wire in the gray 36 pin connector at the fuse block.  Or you can also find it at the headlight switch. It too is also a negitive at the head light switch.  This should take care of the dome light problem you have been having..  good luck.  Brian
