I have a set of dual lights with fog/driving all in one unit. I have the factory fog light switch that I would like to retain. I would like to have the fogs go off and the driving lights go on whenever I go to high beam.

If I wire a relay like this:

PIN 30: SWITCH 12 VOLT INPUT
PIN 87: DRIVING LIGHT SWITCH OUTPUT (Input to light relay box)
PIN 87A: FOG LIGHT SWITCH OUTPUT (Input to light relay box)
PIN 86: GROUND
PIN 85: HIGH BEAM INPUT (+12)

The lights have there own relay box.

Would this work?

Depends on how the OEM wired it. I modified mine to do something similiar and added fog functionality with parking lamps only with this method.

1. Mods to OEM fog wiring
-Switch source became parking lamps, was low beams
---this allows auxilary lamps with all parks, low, or hi.
---OEM allowed fogs only with low beams
-replaced #30 & #87 wiring with 12 guage

2. Fog relay output redirected to DPST relay
---wiring---
30-from fog relay output
85-from hi-beam wire
86-ground
87-to driving lamps
87a- to fog lamps
