Have a security customer that has a 2006 Town and country minivan.  They want a tail light flasher wired in.  Everything that I've been hearing about the newer Dodge/Chryslers is "DO NOT wire anything in to the brake light harnesses" Something about computer controls.  For example. the Dodge Charger.  Does anyone know if this holds true for the entire manufactures line?  I'd much rather place hide-a-way strobes to avoid any future problems.

Thanks for your responses,

John

There is a rest resistance on the (-) trigger parking light wire, so must use a relay to isolate from the switch. Other than this, there's nothing really special about the lights on this vehicle. The brake lamp is a normal (+) trigger and the headlights use the same wire as the (-) parking lights but a different resistance.
