I followed this guide
https://www.necrosan.com/drl.jpg to the point on disabling the DRLs.It didn't work, I'm sad to say though, and I'm wondering if you could help me figure out why. I got the SPDT relay and put wires off each end colored & marked so I knew which wire did what, then i spliced PIN 30 into B10 (going into the connector to the BCM) and 87A going to the other end of the cut PINK wire. PIN 85 was connected to a 12+V source (I also put an inline circuit between the power source for safety) PIN 87 was connected to a ground point. PIN 86 was connected to the light GREEN/ black wire going INTO the BCM connector, the other end of this wire was left loose. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? Thanks! I've tested the power source and everything with a multimeter and the power is going into the relay, BTW, so its not a power issue..
What happens is I get SVS and when I shift out of park the high beams go nuts for a couple seconds then all is fine, but I still have the SVS light. Any of you pros have any idea what I did wrong? Thanks!
Well, seeing as no ones replied back yet.. here's a current schem of what I did.
(and all the parts that should matter)

By the looks of your diagram it seems that when in drl mode, there is somesort of resistance on that pink wire that the bcm needs to see in order to tell it that the lights are indead on in drl mode. That pink wire only shows 12V ground when the high beams are on in full mode. When in drl mode, that pink wire is grounding out between the two hibeams and would have a very small amount of ground on it.
