How is your gain set???

What is the voltage at the amp when the system is turned on to normal listening levels???

What load is the amp wired to??

Turn the amp on and leave the volume all the way down and leave it powered up for 10 minutes,  If it gets hot you have a problem with your amp.  If it does not get hot, you really need to make sure it is not running 1 Ohm mono.

I know for a fact I wired it at 4Ohms Bridged, and also I just blew the fuse on my 4 gauge power cord coming from the battery...

What size fuse did it blow?   How many woofers do you have?    Are they single or dual voice coil?  What is the impedance of the coils?

It blew a AGU60A 60 Amp AGU Fuse, I have two 12" DVC 4 Ohm Diamond Audio Subs

Please explain how exactly you have the subs wired to the amp.

Also, how large are your power/ground wires? What size of fuse is in the amp?

My subs are wired as 4Ohm Bridged.
The Power and Ground wires are 4 Gauge, and the amp has two 30 fuses.
**I was researching why my headlights dimmed so much when I played music and I have come to the conclusion my alternator is not producing enough power, so I think need a new high output alternator. But i cant find where to get one for a 96 Toyota Camry V6

The Big3 upgrade (a sticky at the bottom of the forums page) and a new battery might take car of you.

The only time to use caps is for high-powered SPL comps, where the alternator is plenty large for the system to begin with. Adding a cap to a system with an alternator of insufficient size will only tax the alternator more, causing it to fail prematurely.
