the 300CE is pretty straight foward if I remember correctly. I had an '89 come in about a month ago for a deck install, and the 92 should be pretty similar. The one that I had operated off a 2 channel audio system, controlled through a knob on the center console for fading front and rear. Obviously no factory adpater harness available through it (at least that i've seen), so I hardwired it in. There are two circular plugs if I recall correctly, one houses the 12v constant, 12v switched Acc, Ground, and I believe the Dimmer controls (I didn't use the dimmer). The other will house the speaker wires for the 2ch audio (left +/- and right +/-). I pop-tested the speakers with a AA battery to identify the wires and polarity, and hooked up the front speaker channels to the appropriate wires and capped off the rear speaker outputs on the deck side harness. Not a hard job, just takes a few minutes to figure out which wires are which.
