My friend has a 2002 land rover freelander with a factory stereo, and has absolutly zero reception through her radio. Question for anyone is, is it the factory head unit, or is it going to be the antenna itself? She wants to get an aftermarket headunit, to try to fix the problem, but if its not the headunit, its going to be a waste. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!

i would try a winsheild amplified anttenna i use the ones from Metra  in my shop but many companies make them. try one of those and if the radio works you know its not the head unit just an antenna issue.

good luck
