i am looking for a mono amp to push my two 12 inch mtx thunder 9500s.  they are dual 2ohm voice coil subs so i will need a amp that will make 2500-3000 watts rms at 2ohms mono channel.  i had an ma audio hk 4000d but sadly i spilled an adult beverage into it and its been alot quieter ever since.  i am looking for an inexpensive, not a cheap amp so any advice would be appreciated.

Those handle 1000watts. Why do you think you need 2500-3000 for the pair?

they handle 1000 watts continuously each.  but im the type who likes to slightly overpower my subs, if there built well, and turn my gains down a little more.  so yeah, i will need about 2500-3000 watts rms out of an amp.

Why not open your selection up and get TWO amps, one per sub?

i deffinately would be open to that, but i would need an amp that had outputs so i could daisy chain them and of course id need it to be capable of putting the power to just a single 4ohm voice coil.  turns out i was mistaken in my earlier post.  i forgot that i chose the single voice coil subs.  so any suggestions?  please include where i can find a good deal on the amp you suggest.  i know what brands are quality, what i dont know, is where i can get them without breaking the bank.

Most amplifiers will have a pre-out connection on them so you can daisy chain the signal.  Are your Thunders single 2ohm then, or single 4 ohm?
