what subs would you go with for a daily driver that produces good spl and sq? price doesn't matter. the w7 or dd is what i'm thinking but what about you?

Soundsplinter, Fi, Exodus Audio...too may choices.

ok of the 2 here which one jl w7 or dd 9500
and lets assume boxes r built 2 specs

I think I'd have to agree with Gary. The DD is a REALLY nice driver, and less $$ than the W7.

9500 for SPL and W7 for SQ. Each are optimized for those purposes. You will never get a 9500 to sound as good as a W7 can, just like you can't get a W7 to reach the output capabilities of the 9500.

I'll put my vote in for the Exodus Audio subs if you are leaning toward SQ.
