I am considering putting a deck, a .5 DIN EQ, a component speaker system in the front doors, and then throw in some speakers on the rear deck, and a 4-channel amplifier. My question is this....

Can I install speakers elsewhere (besides the factory spots available) in the car and run them with the same amplifier (6-channel amp?)?

OR...

Would it be smarter to just get a separate 2-channel amp for the 2 extra speakers (besides the front subs in the doors, tweeters in the dash, and speakers in the rear deck)?

Just to clarify the first part of that...

I want to know if I can install two speakers ALONG WITH the component set, and rear deck speakers.

Sorry if I confused anyone...

Sure. As long as your impedance isn't too low for any given amplifier channel, you'll have no problem with that.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
