I just bought a 10 inch kappa perfect dual 4 sub and have a 500 watt alpine amp, now i just have a few other things to get for my install.  Its all goin into my stock system 01 stang with the mach 460.  Ok I have a few lineoutput coverters layin around my garage from work i can use but was thinking of getting a line driver off line that will deliver 8volts is this a good idea? worth the extra money in anyones opinion?  Also next i have tons of cheap rca cables layin around my house also lol but is it worth it to invest in the nicer pricey competition serries rca's if i can get a pretty good deal on them? finally i am also gettin a sealed box but was wondering what size box would be best for the performance of this sub a cubic foot maybe? or less any help would be greatly appretiated.  Thanks

SEALED BOX = 0.60 ft3 (16.99 liters) There is your sealed box spec. As for a 8 Volt line driver if you are using the MPR-M500  the Input Sensitivity: 0.2 - 4.0V so no you would not want the line driver.

Ok thanks, so would it not sound as good in a larger box like 1.0 cubic foot sealed?  And oh I was not aware about the input sensitivity of the amp just figured more voltage would push the current better

Im betting not. They use that spec for a reason.  Sealed will yield your best SQ results. But if you are wanting say stronger bass.  You could use a ported box. Check out the web site. That is where i pulled the spec for the sealed box
