Ok so heres my long story short.
I had a Pioneer AVIC-Z2 stolen from my 07 Altima 2.5S last night. Thank God for Allstate since its covered. But anyways, I want to reinstall the Factory radio however they cut the antenna wire and all I have is the connector that goes to the antenna connection of the factory stereo and 2 bare wires. I did manage to climp them back to the connectors. Obviously the radio wont power on without those 2 wires, ground and antenna or something. The other harness(for power and audio for stereo) was untouched. So I plug everything back in and turn it on. The screen and everything is fine but all I hear is hiss from the speakers. No matter what source, all I hear is hiss. Even CD's and AUX.
Someone please help, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks

What are those two bare wires you mentioned?  What color are they?  Check the wiring codes on the following link to try to figure it out...

those two wires are the ones that belong in the factory antenna connection. they just cut em but i put em back together.

it looks like this, its just the gray piece with two black wires

Maybe you have a factory amp in your car.  When I installed an aftermarket stereo in a suburban, I just bypassed the amp.  I bypassed it where the amp is at, not at the rear of the stock stereo.  You can try to connect a speaker to a speaker output like blue/white and blue/red to see if you're getting an output directly out of your stereo.
