Sentences, spaces and punctuation really do wonders to promote readership.  That's exhausting trying to read that without taking a breath.

Ask someone who knows how to read their digital multimeter to check those coils for resistance.  If a coil shows a true resistance of, say, 0.8 ohms then it's a 1 ohm impedance.  If it reads something like 1.2 then it's a 1.5 ohm coil.  If it reads 1.6 or so ohms resistance, it's a 2 ohm coil.  I don't know if you'll find any other way to be sure.

Best box to use for that subwoofer is a totally clear extra thick plexiglass.  You'll want to be able to see all of that sub.  posted_image

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

yeah, definitely, you need to give us what EACH coil is rated at because it makes a big difference overall. i have one friend that runs an immortal and believe me, it is definitely audiobahns BEST sub. more flashy than it is loud but it is definitely pretty loud im the right box. but, after you tell us what each coil is rated at, we can give you a much better answer.

p.s. use some kind of punctuation, please. it makes it so much easier to understand without having to judge where your sentences end and where they begin. thanks

OK,

Well as far as the manual goes it says its an Audiobahn Quad 2 Ohm Voice Coil Sub.  So im asuming that it has 4 voice coils that have a 2ohm load each.  When i hook an ohm meater to each coil they show a load more like 1.5 to 1.8 each.  I dont know if thats anymore help or not but lets go from there.

ok just look at this diagram. it shows 2 subs but dont pay attention to that, its only the number or voice coils that matters. i would suggest wiring it to 2 ohms unless you want to go through the trouble to find an amp that is half ohm stable
