Hello-
My amp stopped working after 1 of the speaker wires shorted together on 1 of the speakers. The amp powers up (light turns on), but there is no sound coming from this 1-channel amp (Pioneer Premier PRS-D3000SPL). I opened up the amp, and I didn't find any interal burnt fuses.
Help me Obi-Wan!
Burnt Toast-

Did the amp smoke?    Some amps will light up with only remote and ground.  Did you verify with a meter that the amp was getting voltage on the power terminal of the amp.

You "opened up the amp"?  I assume it was not under warranty?  Did any of the fuses blow?

If you have an AGU type fuse anywhere in the power wire going to that amp, replace it even if it looks good.
