I'm not real familiar with Cadence speakers, but I can remember back when Cadence made some top-of-the-line amplifiers!  I'm not sure they are as popular or a well-built now as they used to be because I know of a local importer store who sells Cadence stuff and the amps just don't look as good as they used to.  I may be wrong.  But there are many brands out there that got bought by another brand, then came back with lower quality than the originals.  Like Phase Linear, for example.  I once had a pair of Phase Linear Graphite 250 watt 6x9's that were bi-ampable and would literally never distort!  And back when I bought them in the 80's they were $200 for a pair.  Now days, after Jensen bought Phase Linear, the quality is about as low as RoadGear is now or Kraco used to be.  So, if you are thinking about Cadence, I think I would do as much research as you can on the product line so you will be either happy or not, but will have a better idea if you are are making a wise decision or a foolish one.

Good luck!
