I have a 2008 mini cooper. front doors are 6.5" woofer, tweet on pillar, and 4" in door. Which speakers would work best? I will be running the Alpine PDX-5. Looking for good mids and bass. Do not want to spend over $250. I was considering the Pioneer Premier TS-D720C and TS-D402P... Please help

you wont get a good 3 way set to replace each speaker for under 250, but check out the diamond audio HEX S600s components. you can replace the 6.5 woofer in you door and the tweeter and later when you get more money you can get their 3-way add on kit that gives you another 4 inch mid and crossover. although you will probably be happy when you hear just the 2-way setup.
