i just got mine in the mail.... not installed yet.

Did US Amps go down hill???

the gutts look like something out of a cheap amp. the feel of it and everything screams cheap!

this amp supposed to replace my MTX 942.

you guys think its worth the switch?

I use U.S. amps on occasion and have not noticed anything bad about them, they have not given me any problems. but I also have not compared the guts from the new amps to the old ones,so I cant give you a definite answer on that. In my opinion I think you should be just fine with the MD1D.
good luck

it has a look like the cheap lanzer amps. its real light and stuff. i dunno... ill hook it up and see. it says its rated at 1200rms @ 1 ohm 14.4 volts. but by looking at it, 1200 peak seems more realistic. this is bumming me out.

It's the mid line stuff, works and makes good power, clean.  The AX line is heavy.
