I've got a Z3 Coupe with very limited trunk space, want to keep the car all stock.

What's the physically smallest 4+ channel amp on the market? Ideally it would be a 4+1, but I don't think I'll find anything that would fit...

The space I have is about 8x10x4"... any help is appreciated. thanks

hrmmm...

if you are willing to buy used, look for Blade amps...they are physically tiny, yet produce tons of clean power...you may also want to look at some of the a/d/s/ amps, they typically have a small footprint as well...

what is your price range for this project?

Price range... not set yet, I look more for value than cheap components. Why, do you know of something better that may cost more? let me know, thanks!

I am not certain that it would fit however, I recently sold a MTX 5 channel amp to a customer of mine. The only 5 channel I have sold thus far, but I thought it was relatively small. It would be a suggestion of mine that you check into it. You can find the amp at www.mtx.com

If you have any further questions, feel free to e-mail me at drvnbysound@aol.com

what model number was the 5 channel? I didnt think MTX made any new 5 channels, and the 5400 was a bit of a pig...not small at all...

I still stand by a/d/s/ in this department...some of the cleanest amps out there and they are quite small...

I'm in the same boat, looking for really small amps. I've heard Memphis mentioned a few times, that's probably what I'm gonna go for. Their amps are all 6.5"x2"x(whatever). The whatever varies depending on the power of the amp. For instance, the 16-MC3004 (75 watts x 4) is 6.5"x2"x16.4".

The MTX amp that I ordered in for the customer was last years model. This years model number is Thunder895. It is rated at 50x4 and 225x1 RMS@ 4ohm w/ 14V. I want to say that amp that I got in was actually doing around 75x4 and 300W RMS according to their provided test sheet. The amp is 9.75"W x 15.6" L x 2.1" H   I guess its probably not the smallest amp on the market, but for the price, if you can fit it, I would think it would be a great investment
