i have a 1983 dodge ram van.what size enclosure should i use for 2 DVC 12" 1000 watt volfenhag subs and whats the minimum and or max amp i need to use? current enclosure size is: width=69",hight=13",and depth=20"

The very best enclosure for a Volfenhag subwoofer is a sealed enclosure... a 22 gallon trash can, with the lid tightly sealed.

Your enclosure is WAY to big. You only need 1.25 to 1.5 per sub sealed. You have over 8 cu.ft. Those subs are highly over rated. 350 -500rms is all i would give them for the pair.

I did an install years ago with a pair for a friend. After a week thats is exactly where they went.

well then if i use my clairion apx202.2 amp they should last longer then a week?..lol. nah, i need a complete new system, just start from scatch i guess. im a beginner last night i fried my deck tryin to hook my blapunkt 6x9s. ill have a pro install it all,thanks ya'll
