I am wanting to hook up a single JL Audio 10w3v2 with dual 4 ohm voice coils to my Rockford 360a2 amp (90 watts x2 at 4 ohms)

Now my problem is the owners manual for the amp states not to run the amp any lower than 2 ohms. How can I wire up the sub to present a 2 ohm load to the amp with it bridged or is it even possible?

You are stuck with 2 safe options. One is to connect one voice coil to each channel of the amp for a 4 ohm stereo load. Second choice is to wire the voice coils in series and bridge it to the amp for an 8 Ohm mono load. The amp will produce the same exact amount of power into either of the 2 above suggestions. If you parallel the voice coils and bridge that to the amp for a 2 ohm mono load, the amp will NOT LIKE THAT.

So to answer your question, the only way you can achieve a 2 ohm stereo or a 4 ohm mono load is to use only 1 voice coil of your speaker.
