Here is a question for you guys..........when upgrading all the wiring.......specifically the ground wires...which is better? the round normal coated wiring or the flat copper stuff? i have all different sizes of the flat stuff and about 2000 ft of it and would like to use it up......is it ok to use the flat stuff on all your grounds??i even have stainless steel flat stuff too.......please let me know as i am doin this  change this weekend..........thanx guys

are you talking of braided copper?...sure use it.  if it's bare copper it will eventually oxidize, you may want to sheath it in tubing--heat shrink perhaps?

i'd stick with the copper, better conductivity than the stainless steel.  are you sure it's stainless steel---maybe tinned copper?

NEVER use stainless steel as a current carrying conductor!  The only thing stainless is good for is as a braid over insulated copper wire for abrasion protection.

yes it is pure stainless    i worked at the place that made it.....but ok    will  cover the flatstuff then....thanx guys
