i have a few question reguarding my setup.

i have 3 solo baric L7 10 inch subs in a box. 2 of them are 4 ohm dual voice coils and the other is 2 ohm dvc. i wired the 2 4ohm subs series in parallel so they are at 4 ohms together and i wired the 2 ohm dvc sub at  by itself series so it is also at 4 ohms. i want to know can i wire them all togetherwith each sub series then joined together parallel in order to get all three at 2 ohms.

next question is. i have a kenwood 1000w kac 929 amp it says it is 2 ohm stable while bridged and that it puts out 500 watts rms while bridged. this amp has 2 30 watt fuses

i also have a powerbass 2000.1d amp that is suppose to be 500 watt rms at  2 ohm and 1000watts at 1 ohm. the powerbase amp has 3 40amp fuses

which amp should i use ?

any info about my speakers or amps would be appreciated. i am a novice and just started to try learning the electrical aspects of installing car audio.

That Kenwood amp is 2 ohm stereo stable, which means it is only stable down to 4 ohms when bridged.

so should i run 2 channels on at 2 ohms or 1 channel bridged and 4 ohms?

and which amp should i use

2 ohm stereo is the same exact electrical load as 4 ohm mono.  About which amp to use, I thought you had 3 woofers with a final output of 2 ohms.  Do not do that to the kenwood.

ok so i hooked up the powerbass and it is a beast. i got the amp off craigslist for 75 bucks. best purchase ever for me.

3 L7 10 inch at 2ohms serial and parallel on the mono amp 500w rms

i wonder what if i had some  1 ohm stable speakers what this amp could do?!!1

The amp will probably put out a little more power into 1 ohm vs. 2 ohm.  But the longevity of your happiness will also be affected.

That was a general statement, not directed at the Powerbass brand.  It goes for just about all amplifiers out there.  Way too often I have seen people that had their 1 ohm capable wired into a 2 ohm load, then they buy another woofer to get max power out of said amp.  Only to have it last a day or 2.  They are then NOT HAPPY.

I understood it was not directed towards "powerbass" .i was laughing because you connected the longevity of the amp with his previous statement about how happy he was with the amp. I dont know I just got a kick out of the wording i guess!!!
