I fix Cap and AMP in the trunk, due to the hot weather in my country amp become very hot even if i dont turnon my stereo headunit therefore i want to move only amp under the driver seat .
the distance is from the cap to driver seat is around max 2 meter.
Please help me ,
I mounted my amps with rubber spacers under the feet. It allows air to flow under the bottom. Not sure if this makes much difference but it sure couldn't hurt. Some amps don't like to be mounted vertically such as yours is mounted currently; the design of the cooling fins warrant a horizontal mounting position. You can also add small cooling fans.
Another concern is the impedance of the current load on the amp. I am assuming at this point that your amp is seeing the correct impedance of the sub load.
Tell us more about your subs and amp. Model numbers, Ohm rating on the sub(s), single or dual voice coil, how many subs are being used and power wire size. The more information you give, the easier it is to for us to diagnose your situation.

My Mono Amps is G8400( 1200WATTS)
RMS Power Rating:
- 4 ohms: 300 watts x 1 chan.
- 2 ohms: 600 watts x 1 chan.
Install two JBLS woofers (1200watts 300rms dual core and 1400watts 350rms single core).
4gauge power wire.
What is the impedance of the speakers? It will be listed in Ohms.
haha,
this is a good one.....
Kapirani,
Remove both subs from the enclosure and take a close up picture of the back of the magnet. Send us the picture . Hopefully we can see the Ohm rating on it. If you have the original boxes that the subs came in, the box will have the Ohm rating on it as well.
We are trying to help you. We are trying to verify if you have the subs wired correctly to the amplifier. It is possible that they are NOT and that is a good reason why your amp is getting hotter than it should.

Let's try it this way, How much power does the amp produce into a 4 ohm load? How much power does the amp produce into a 2 ohm load?
What is the power handling of the speakers?
I hope this works.
Amp Power as under.
- 4 ohms: 300 watts x 1 chan.
- 2 ohms: 600 watts x 1 chan.
Woofers Power as under
1200watts 300rms dual core
1400watts 350rms single core
Going out on a limb here:
Sounds like two different subs: 1 dvc and 1 svc. Assuming the dvc is 4ohm and svc is 4ohm.
If all coils are wired in parallel = 1.333ohms. If this is the case, the impedence is too low. The spec. on the amp is 2ohm minimum.
I would double check the wiring of the subs. If my assumption is correct, you can wire only one voice coil on the dual coil sub in parallel with the single voice coil sub (assuming they are 4ohm) and provide a 2ohm minimum load to the amp. This will allow the amp to run cooler for sure.
Again, I am only assuming because we still don't know for sure what the impedence is of the subs.
