I decided to check out this local event today. As a spectator of course.
It seemed like orginized chaos to me. I did meet some cool people and some cat from San Jose, a judge apparently had a prototype RE 15 driven by some Italian or Brazillian amp. This new RE, I was told is a in between modle of the XXX and MT. He hit 145+ with it with very limited stock electrical and second battery. The amp was starving for more power but was impressive never the less. My main interest was checking out Amature Street competetors. After hearing and seeing for myself what it's all about, I felt pretty proud of my own system.
I attribute this to this forum and it's members for sharing their knowledge selflessly day in and day out.
Much respect,

Good deal, at the rate I am going with my work truck's system, before long I may enter in a local event in Ca. Am I gathering your fitten to enter a contest? Do you have your system featured anywhere so I can check it out?

This is what I do for FUN!
No, but I'm looking at a used Scion XB to enter in the future. Perhaps next year. I am very interested in participating but have much to acquire and learn. After hearing the AS class, I would say it was encouraging to me to know that I'm not that far behind as an amature street competitor.
Best of luck to you at your next drag, will try to catch all the local events this year and maybe others if possible.
