Hey guys? i want to know how many devices can you hook up to the (switched power12volts)wire) and constant wire in a 1997 Honda CRV. I want to add another equalizer to my sound system just to control the highs/tweeters, the clarion eqs 746 i have just not boosting them enough for my liking, want to put in back my old power acoustic pwm-19 eq which gave me clean/clearer tweets/highs.

It depends on many different factors - the most important being the current draw of the devices you want to add and the current capacity of the circuit.

For small loads, like EQs, I wouldn't worry much about it, but for big loads I would run a wire directly to the battery.

It should say either on the eq or in the manual that came with the eq.  You could also measure it with an ammeter.

can i hook up 2 equalizers, a headunit, and an active crossover to the factory power wire 12volt switched? and can all these devices be connect to the constant 12volt factory wire or is that to many devices

IMO is better if you use a relay or a distribution block.

The only wire of your sound system that should be connected to a switched 12 volt source is the red wire of the radio.  All eq and crossovers should be connected to constant power, and the remote wire of the radio.  The current draw of your EQ and crossover are minimal.

I said that all of the power wires of your processors need to be connected to a constant 12volt source.  The remote wires of tthe eq(s) and crossover should be connected to the remote wire of your deck.  Blue/White.
